Amidst banters, exchange of pleasantries and patting on the back by the galaxy of Nollywood professionals, script writer and movie producer , Vivian Ejike set a new spine breaking record with the premier movie ‘A Private Storm’.
The film which was directed by ace movie director Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen saw an evening of clustered stars gathering in one of Lagos most prestigious hotel quietly sited for the premiere of Nollywood´s biggest film of the moment.
The movie, which featured the handsome and successful, Alex (Ramsey Nouah Jnr.) as a total package with a massive grudge. On the other hand is pretty, young and sassy Gina (Omotola Jalade Ekeinde) caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.
Gina (Omotola) who is engaged to the most eligible bachelor, seems to be living in the world of an ideal girl. However, beyond the picture of their perfect lives, lies a huge ego, massive insecurities, a monstrous rage, a fierce passion, an unconditional love and determination beyond reasonable limits. All of which set in motion the rapid wheels of an impending storm, which rage threatens to destroy all in its path.
“I did not expect anything aside a classic film from the producer, I didn’t expect just another film but a redefinition of film making. It is a classic movie that the cast and crew has put together and am sure it will go places just like other movies he has done in times past“, a guest at the event commented.
The movie director, Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, in his white suit and red shoes said ‘The movie is another block buster that will rock the industry, with its quality and the amount of pain taking energy that we have devoted towards the success of the movie. I don’t want to say much about the movie just watch out for the movie’.
The film featured celebrity actors and actresses like Christine Yetunde Ajisafe, Ufuoma Ejenobor, Ngozi Ezeonu, John Dumelo, Ramsey Nouah Jnr., Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and as earlier stated directed by Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen and co directed by Ikechukwu Oyenka.
Vivian Ejike who premiered the movie started her script writing and production career in 1996 when she produced her first movie titled ‘Golden Fleece’ as a student. Some of the blockbusters and award winning movies she wrote and produced include Silent Scandal, When The Heart Lies among others.
