16-Year-Old Student Stabs Grandmother To Death

A 16-year-old student of Community Secondary School, Ugbo in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State has allegedly stabbed his grandmother, Mrs Christiana Anieke, to death.
The student, who is now at large, allegedly stabbed his grandmother at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday.
Mr Ebere Amarizu, the Public Relations Officer of the Enugu State Police Command, said in a statement in Enugu on Wednesday that the suspect used a kitchen knife to stab the deceased over a yet-to-be-established reason.
Amarizu said investigations into the incident were on and that the search for the fleeing suspect had been intensified.
He said the body of the deceased had been deposited at Jideofor Hospital Mortuary, Awgu, for post-mortem examination.
