Osinbajo reveals what rescued Chibok girls are doing





- Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president, has spoken on the welfare of the released Chibok girls

- Osinbajo disclosed that the girls are currently studying in a university but which he didn't name

- He maintained that they are very excited about their new lives

Yemi Osinbajo, the vice president, has explained that the Chibok school girls who escaped from Boko Haram captivity are currently studying in a university.

Daily trust reports that Osinbajo did not disclosed the university’s name but said: “We are happy to report that they are all doing very well, they are very excited about the new opportunities that they have and they are starting their lives afresh with a great deal of enthusiasm.”

NAIJ.com gathered that the vice president on Wednesday, October 11, made this known at the State House while receiving a delegation of girl child rights advocates from various schools in Abuja.

The delegation was led by officials from the Universal Basic Education Commission, the Save the Children International and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

According to him, “We want to be able to challenge men and women all over the world about this sort of behaviour, and this is one of the reasons why we are advocating that this kind of conduct must be met with the greatest possible objection and force.”

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that Atiku Abubakar, former vice-president said the school girls had been enrolled at the American University of Nigeria.
