Nigeria vs Libya: Semi Ajayi speaks on choosing Super Eagles over England

Newly-capped Nigeria international, Semi Ajayi, has said it was not difficult for him to choose the Super Eagles over England.

Ajayi revealed this in an interview with Tobi Adepoju, ahead of the upcoming back-to-back 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Libya.

“It wasn’t a tough decision for me. I feel very much Nigerian.

“I played for the Nigerian youth teams. My parents raised me in a very much Nigerian way; they taught me the Nigerian culture.

“I’ve been to Nigeria many times, so to make the decision to come and play for the Super Eagles was very easy,” he said.

Ajayi currently plays his club football for Rotherham in the English Championship.
