Mrs. Omene was released at about 4pm, five hours after it was gathered she cried out from the kidnappers’ den, asking that she should be allowed to have a bath.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Charles Muka, who confirmed the victim’s release, said: “Mama Omene was released as Police closed in on the kidnappers. No ransom was paid.”
