Bizman cautions govt, Nigerians on Boko Haram’s peace move
A man who escaped death by the whiskers during the April 8, 2012 bombing of a church at Kaduna, by terrorists has cautioned Nigerians not to believe the peace move by the group. The international businessman, Inetianbor Anslem, in a chat with Crimewatch said: “I saw the bombing where 38 persons died.
I escaped death by the whiskers.” Anslem said he was happy when he heard that some Southerners who live in the North were relocating back to their various places. “But with this olive branch being offered to the government by Boko Haram, they should not be accepted in a hurry so as not to be deceived. In his words: “I want to advise that Southerners should be very careful not to be deceived.
Watch well and be sure that peace has finally returned before going back or relaxing in the North.” He said report had it that over 3,000 people had lost their lives and property worth billions of naira destroyed. “As for me, I lost all I had but I thank God that I am alive today. Each time I remember what I lost and the number of people that have died, I weep for this country.” I am still traumatised by that attack I nearly lost my life.”
He warned that people should not be deceived to rush back to the Boko Haram prone areas as the peace move offered to the government may be a plot to lure people back and thereafter resume hostility. He called on the local government chairmen and state governors of the Southern states to prevail on their indigenes who were lucky to have relocated back not to go back to the troubled spots.
