Senator Shehu Sani, representing Kaduna Central constituency at the National Assembly has condemned “Quit notice” given to northerners living in the South South.
He also said that the “Quit notice” given to northerners living in the South South by some militant groups should be condemned.
The senator on his Facebook page on Saturday called on the Federal Government, state governors, legislators, patriotic groups and individuals speak against the call by the militants with one voice.
He said: “Quit notice” given to northerners living in the south south by a Militant organisation stands condemned. The Federal Government, state Governors, Legislators and patriotic groups and individuals must raise an equal voice against this.
He went further to say that no ‘restructuring’ will take place before 2019; it will be all talks, storms and ‘buying of time’ until the drumbeat of elections eclipse that of ‘restructuring
‘Restructuring will be in the campaign manual of all Nigerian political parties for 2019 general elections.
”=Some will even back it up with documents both soft and hard copies; some will even share DVDs of how the polity will be restructured. After the elections then ‘the Government need to settle down’; then the ‘Government need to study the document’.

Also on #InternationalYouthDay Sani said that: ‘youths must not be used as foot soldiers of the political class nor must they be used as thugs and instruments of violence.
‘They must be empowered, engaged and involved in the nation’s socio economic and political transformation and advancement.
‘The youths should be agents of positive change and not vigilantes of narrow interests.
