There has been a brawl between officers of the Nigeria Police Force and those of the Department of State Services (DSS) at the palace of Emir of Bauchi.
An assistant commissioner of police deployed to Bauchi state command and a DSS official attached to the wife of the governor of Nasarawa state Mairo Al-Makura.
The fight between the security officers occurred during a courtesy visit called by the Northern Governors’ Wives Forum (NGWF) to the Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Adamu.

It was gathered that the clash happened while the Emir was seated and receiving his guests.
The fight began when the DSS operative demanded that the vehicle of the Bauchi state governor's wife be parked properly.
The operatives said to have asked that the vehicle be parked away from the vehicle of the Nasarawa state governor's wife.

But in his reaction, the police officer, dressed in his uniform became infuriated by the order.
He was also said to have raised his voice at the DSS official who got provoked and rained abuse on the police officer.
It was also gathered that some police officers who are subordinate to the ACP joined the fight, beating the DSS operative to pulp.

Also, a senior police officer present at the venue of the incident immediately took away the pistol belonging to the police officer to prevent accidental discharge of gunshot.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that a military officer sustained injuries during a clash between police officers and personnel of the Nigerian air force.
The incident took place at First Bank branch along Douglass Road, Owerri, Imo state capital.
