St John’s Old students renovate school block

Old students of the prestigious St John’s Grammar School, Ile-Ife, Osun State will commission newly renovated classrooms on Friday.

The students, who were admitted in 1976 and graduated in 1981 said the project would improve the learning environment and reverse the worsening state of the school’s facilities.

President of the 76-81 alumni, Mr. Siyanbola Oladapo, said the old students mobilised millions of naira to renovate and modernise a block of six classrooms.

Oladapo, a member of the recently inaugurated National Addressing System Council, called on old students of other sets to join the alumni to restore the school to its glory.
