‘Tell my trash record label Def Jam to free me’ -August Alsina slams his record label in Twitter rant

Superstar singer, August Alsina, who went off on a Twitter rant slammed his record label ‘Def Jam’, saying they are to be blamed for the delay in releasing an album.
August Alsina, who hasn’t released an album since late 2015, but has been preparing for the release of his third studio album, while replying a follower’s tweet said it will be released next year, though he wanted it sooner this year.
He tweeted “I would love to put my album out but DEF JAM is holding it/me hostage because the system is not up & running until next year so they basically dont exist. The label is just TRASH I will release free music soon but that has been the hold up. Tell Them to FREE ME & the Album.”
