Kogi State capital Lokoja, shut down after brutalized policeman dies in hospital

The Kogi State capital has been shut down following a NO MOVEMENT order given by the State Commissioner of Police as a result of a policeman who was brutalized during protest yesterday (11th January) at the Obasanjo Paparanda Square. The policeman later gave up at the Federal Medical Centre in the capital. People from that axis of the town are running to the Felele area to avoid arrest as Police shoot guns and teargas to enforce the order.
