I have been married for 12 years and have three kids. Lately, I have found my wife in situations that can’t be explained.
The first was when I traveled and came back unexpectedly and I could not gain entrance into my apartment for over an hour. Later, my wife opened the door and appeared to have been fast asleep, while the boy living with us was in the bathroom.
I wondered what they were doing together in the apartment - could the boy be eating my food and sleeping with my wife? Again, a man who was my wife’s colleague during her national youth service year (12 years ago) suddenly called my phone and after an exchange of pleasantries, he asked if my wife testified of his sexual prowess in bed. I asked him to repeat what he said and he did. I was quiet uncomfortable and later asked my wife, who denied such. What do I do?
I won’t like to comment on your first assumption of whether your wife sleeps with the boy living with you or no. Why? You need to make your personal investigation before jumping to conclusion. Rather, let us talk on her old colleague who asked for a testimony of his sexual prowess.
If your wife has denied ever having anything to do with him, there is nothing you can do. Why? You never caught them in bed. You should have scolded the man when he said that on the phone because the woman is now your wife and not his lover.
I am sure he would call again to play pranks on your psyche. He is not only irresponsible, he is out to prove something to your wife, who must have had something to do with him - maybe she refused his advances or decided calling off whatever they had together and he threatened telling you if she didn’t succumb.
You have to talk to you wife and express your fears about her unfaithful ways. Moreover, I sense you need to spend more time with her and share more intimate times together.
