It might be too early call it, but we'll put it out there anyway - a lady called Brenda is officially the unsung hero of 2017.
There's a Brenda in every office .
She's the sort of person who is left - quite literally - cleaning up after others.
But her employees - whoever they are - may have recently asked too much of her.
As in, they've asked her to do the sort of job we wouldn't wish on our arch nemesis - it's literally that bad.
Like all good stories, it involves blocked toilets.
The loos in Brenda's place of work have packed up and the plumber is not due to come and fix them until the next day.
What do you ask your employees to do? Go elsewhere? Hold it in? Or this...
You've got to feel for poor Brenda: "Hi Brenda, we've got a favour to ask you..." pic.twitter.com/PNHkDk6QWf— Chris Shaw (@ChrisShawEditor) July 21, 2017
Yes, that IS a notice which reads:
"Please do not use the toilets as there has been a blockage.
"The plumber will be here first thing tomorrow morning, so for the rest of the day please use the public toilets in the car park.
"In case of emergencies, please wrap your stools in newspaper and leave on your desk. Brenda will come round with her trolley and collect them at 5.30pm.
"Please note that any stools passed out of business hours are your own responsibility and must be disposed of at your own risk."
The note was posted by Twitter user Chris Shaw, who said it had happened at his friend James' office.
This has to break some sort of health and safety/employment law combination, surely?
Others seemed to think so too.
SURELY, SURELY THIS IS JUST SOME ONE'S IDEA OF BANTZ BECAUSE IF NOT ... OH BRENDA— David Lewis (@davidclewis) July 21, 2017

If it IS true, however, then we think it's high time Brenda got a handsome payrise.
