Comrade Adams Oshiomhole
Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole on Monday began his second term, with a pledge to rededicate himself to the development of the state.
Oshiomhole, who was dressed in his trademark khaki jumper and top, took his oath of office for a second term before a large crowd at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin, Edo State.
The former labour leader had on Friday dissolved the State Executive Council ahead of the end of his first term.
Before that, he had also dissolved the caretaker committees in the 18 local government areas of the state.
