Teacher Accused Of Misconduct With Female Students At Queen's College Transferred To An All-Boys School Olaseni Oshifala
  • Olaseni Oshifala accused of sleeping with students of Queen's College has been transferred out of the school
  • Oshifala was posted to an all male school pending the conclusion of the investigation on his case

Olaseni Oshifala, a biology teacher of Queen's College, Lagos, accused of sexual misconduct with the students, has been transferred to an all-boys school.

Oshifala was posted to King's College, an all-boys school in August 2017, but there are reports that his posting was done privately as investigation about him is still ongoing.

Oshifala has been embroiled in a big controversy since he was accused of sexually abusing several girls in the school.

The alleged sexual abuse incident came to light after a parent of a JSS2 student accused Mr Oshifala of molesting her daughter and the school covering his crime.

He was however cleared of any wrongdoing by a panel set up by the ministry of education because none of his alleged victims were willing to come out and affirm that he molested them.

The Cable reports that the minister of education, Adamu Adamu, said government is planning to reopen investigation into Oshifala case.

The school principal in a press statement claimed that Olaseni is a good teacher and the accusation against him were false.

The principal went further to say that Oshifala had been recommended to her as a credible person by a former principal of Kings college, Dele Olapeju, before she resumed work as Queens college principal.
