Chidzambwa's Mashonaland Warriors fall in Namibia

Zimbabwe 0 - 1 Namibia
The Zimbabwe Warriors got off to a not so good start in their Africa Nations Championships (CHAN) qualifying campaign after succumbing to a 1-nil loss away to Namibia in Windhoek.

The Warriors, who had a handful of players from the 2017 COSAFA Castle Cup triumph in South Africa, were bullish heading into the first leg of their Namibia encounter at the Sam Nujoma Stadium this Sunday, but things did not go the way they had wanted.

Zimbabwe had a goal disallowed in the first half, before Namibia settled matters just after half-time.

Zimbabwe now hope to turn around the tie to entertain any hopes of qualification for the CHAN finals, a tournament they have not missed since its inception in 2009.
