Zanu-PF's strategy to rig Matabeleland vote exposed, Dokora warned

Mthwakazi Republic Party members and supporters from Matabeleland North particularly Tsholotsho have cried foul following their deliberate exclusion by the Ministry of primary and secondary education.

The Ministry of Education had informed qualified teachers who want to join his ministry as teachers to come for interviews at the Ministry's offices in Tsholotsho.

MRP supporter in Lupane Mpiyezwe Mconywa has said professional teachers from across Matabeleland also went there in anticipation of employment only to discover that people have already been employed from Harare.

"My heart is bleeding as I am speaking to you, it was so pathetic to say the least. We saw Shona people coming with reference letters from Higher office personnel and they took all the jobs available. None of them could speak Ndebele or any other local language, that's where I realised that as Mhwakazi people we are nothing in this country," said the source who is also a qualified teacher but could not get the job despite the fact that he is originally from Tsholotsho.

MRP said it  is aware of a plan by Robert Gabriel Mugabe's cabinet to employ thousands of Shona people as civil servants into Matabeleland territories in this election period, most of which being CIO agents and  ZANU PF youths as part of a broader rigging strategy.

"ZANU PF is on a mission to dilute the Mthwakazi vote through different methods of rigging including intimidation. As MRP we encourage parents across Mthwakazi, regardless of political affiliation to unite and reject all teachers or any other civil servant who can't speak your local languages. MRP will stand with you in defense of your fundamental human Rights," said the MRP.

"We believe that all the employment opportunities within your areas belongs to you, and first preference must be given to you. Therefore we can't have our primary students being taught in a foreign language when we have our own qualified sons and daughters doing nothing at home or worse still risking their lives crossing through the crocodile infected Limpopo river to South Africa."

"Finally we would like to warn Dokora to desist from such kind of behavior of following the 1979 Grand plan at the expense of our people. If you continue pushing us to the corner we maybe forced to completely shut down all our schools until after Independence."

"We can not continue to tolerate that nonsense, not anymore please register and Vote MRP to free Matabeleland."
