The consortium has invited overseas experts in the field to come and train our farmers.
"The experts invited are Dr. Ludwig Pülschen and Martina Pülschen who are both from Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH Non-profit Corporation based in Bonn, Germany," reads a statement.They arrived in the country on the 8th of October 2017 and are staying for a minimum of 3 weeks conducting workshops in Bulawayo, Matabeleland South and Matabeleland North Provinces.
The Objectives of the workshop will be; to promote gender sensitive and inclusive agricultural practices that are climate smart, to promote climate adaptation practices under the current climate change, to sensitize and bring awareness of climate change issues.
"We expect the participants to adopt the new approaches and mainstream them in their agricultural practices. With reference to the above, we hereby to extend an invitation to organisation and farmers to attend a workshop on Wed 11th and 12th October 2017 at 10:00hrs at the National Art Gallery, JM Nkomo Street, Byo Administration fee is $3.00 for the workshop. Please kindly forward a list of farmers who are able to attend," reads the invite.
