BREAKING: Coronavirus: Nigeria records 8 new cases of COVID-19

The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced eight new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria

A tweet on the NCDC’s official Twitter handle, said seven of the new cases were recorded in Lagos State and one in Benue State.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 89.

“8 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria, 7 in Lagos and 1 in Benue State.

“As at 04:00 pm 28th March there are 89 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death,” it added.
