This brings the total number of recovered and discharged patients in the state to 69.

Obaseki while addressing newsmen in the state, disclosed that three persons had died in the last 24-hours from COVID-19 related deaths.

His tweet read: “We have discharged 11 #Covid_19 patients from our isolation facilities. That makes it a total of 69 persons so far discharged in Edo.

“The number of deaths has, however, increased to 13.

“Our frontline workers have been remarkable this period. We appreciate them. Stay safe.”

He commended the health workers working to curb the spread of the virus.
