Nathan Ake: Man City complete £41million deal for defender





Manchester City have completed a £41m deal with Bournemouth for Nathan Ake.

The 25-year completed his medical on Wednesday and signed a five-year deal with the Etihad side.

Ake becomes City’s second major signing of the summer after the arrival of Ferran Torres from Valencia.

“City have been the best side in England over the course of the last decade.

“Coming here is a dream for me. This is a top side full of world-class players.

“Everywhere you look in this squad there are big names with international pedigree,” Ake told the club’s official site.

Ake who has played for Chelsea in the past, made 29 appearances in the Premier League for Bournemouth this season.

He scored twice and created two assists for the Cherries, who are now relegated.
