PDP warns Buhari against pushing Nigerians to anger

Following the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari not to restructure the country as being agitated in many parts of the country, the People Democratic Party, PDP has reprimanded him saying he deserves to be tortured.

DAILY POST recalls the president had on Saturday, vowed that his administration would not embark on restructuring the country. stressing that those agitating for separation and canvassing for restructuring are naive and ignorant of war.

The President spoke on Saturday during the Launch of Kudirat Abiola Sabon Gari, Zaria Peace Foundation which took place at Ahmadu Bello University Hotels, Zaria, Kaduna state.

Reacting, PDP, in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, warned the president against pushing the nation to anger which could birth further crisis.

”The Progressives Congress had no time for the call by Nigerians, across the board, for a discourse on the state of the nation, particularly in the face of worsening insecurity, economic hardship and sectional disagreements, further demonstrates their arrogance and dictatorial disposition towards the people.

“It is instructive to inform President Buhari that, as citizens of a democratic state, Nigerians have every right to demand constitutional restructuring as well as a democratic forum to deliberate on good governance and national cohesion.”
