Kaduna: Police train 312 Civilian Joint Task Force personnel to curtail insecurity

As part of efforts to boost security presence in the state, 312 personnel of the Kaduna State Joint task Force known as the ‘Civilian JTF’ have graduated from the Police College, Kaduna.

The State Chairman of the security outfit, Shehu Dantudu, in a statement in Kaduna on Sunday, explained that the officers were trained in order to
have the technical know-how on handling security matters.

According to him, another set of members would receive similar training at the Police College, Kaduna, in November 2021. Although he did not mention the number of his officers that would benefit from the November 2021 training, he said the outfit was to augment the government’s efforts in combating insecurity across the 23 local government areas of the state.

“Our objective is to help the government in handling any security situation in the society if we make an arrest ours, is to hand them over to the police so that we have a free society in terms of crimes and criminal activities,” he further said.

The statement thanked the Inspector General of Police, the Commandant of the College, the Headmaster, and those that help in one way or the other.
