Nwoye has no electoral value, a political ant that Obiano is not afraid of – Obigwe

By Nwafor Sunday

Following a viral report credited to the former chief whip of Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Chuba Oranusi, that Governor Willie Obiano is afraid of Mr. Tony Nwoye coming November 18th governorship election of the state, the National coordinator APGA Media Warriors Forum, Evang Chinedu Obigwe, Saturday described it as a fallacious statement, noting that Nwoye has no electoral value to squirm Obiano as he (Nwoye) is nothing but a political ant.

In a press release issued, Obigwe said, that “Governor Obiano is not afraid of anybody especially Tony Nwoye because he is a political ant that poses no threat to the Governor’s 2nd term bid.

He said that Tony Nwoye lacks the required electoral value to make the Governor to be afraid of him, thus has nothing to truncate Governor Obiano’s 2nd term mandate.

In his words, “Governor Obiano’s pedigree towers above Nwoye that is seen as an elevated political thug that lacks electoral justification for good governance.

“The people of Anambra will reject Tony Nwoye on November 18th because he has nothing to offer them except ‘kindergarten and thuggery’ style of governance.”

He also faulted Tony Nwoye’s promise of 20, 000, 00 jobs creation for the people of the State, saying “as somebody that is not an employer of labour he lacks the required experience to actualize such promise.”

Obigwe referred to Tony Nwoye as a ‘Court elected bench warmer legislator’ that has failed the people of Anambra East and West Federal Constituency.

He said that Nwoye has nothing to show as his achievements in the House of Representatives compared to Governor Obiano whose glaring achievements in Anambra State can be likened to a 9months old pregnancy that cannot be covered with bare hands.

He commended the Governor for his administrations ‘community chose your project initiatives’ and for doing the same in all the markets in Anambra State.

Obigwe further noted that the community and market projects initiative by Governor Obiano’s administration stamped his developmental footprints in the State.

Similarly he stated that Governor Obiano’s appeal to the people of the State for a 2nd term mandate is aimed at consolidating his administrations’ achievements in the State for the people of the State to keep moving forward.

He advised the people of the State to avoid making wrong choice during election.

In his words “a vote for Tony Nwoye, Oseloka Obaze, Godwin Ezemo and Osita Chidoka is a wrong choice that will end in regret but a vote for Governor Obiano is a right choice that will end in praises.

He hinged his reasons on the facts that Governor Obiano is contesting for a 2nd term mandate to consolidate on his achievements in office whereas other candidates contest with the intention of looting Anambra treasury and destroy the solid developmental foundation laid in the State by Governor Obiano.

Obigwe said that the proof of his assertion is Ngige’s well publicised threat to ensure that APC administration in Anambra State destroys the 3modern flyovers built in the State by Governor Obiano’s administration.

“ Governor Obiano as Anambra source of light will triumph over those that want to bring darkness to the State because light will always dispel darkness, he finally said.
