‘Restructuring’ll solve N’Delta question, not 16-point agenda’

By Charles Kumolu

CHAIRMAN of Bayelsa State Monitoring Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mr. Charles Ambaiowei has said that irrespective of the Federal Government’s position on the 16-Point Agenda of the Niger Delta region, the challenges  in the zone would be resolved through the restructuring of Nigeria.

He also argued that Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, is not the true representative of the region, describing it as a gathering of ex-political heavyweights.

Ambaiowei, who said this in a chat, said his committee was committed to scrutinizing the projects that had been executed in Bayelsa State by the NDDC.
