Veteran Abubakar Usman, led the way with team-best 13 points. Ibrahim Yusuf and Dele Ademola poured in 12 points apiece while Abdul Yahaya added 11.

On their side, Gombe Bulls Abdulwahab Yakubu was at his best as he recorded game-high 14 points while three of his team-mates including Kator Gar, Chibozor Njoku and Sylvanus Yakubu combined for 34.

Sani Ahmed’s side will represent Nigeria at the continental showpiece for the second time in a row.
