A journalist was allegedly harassed with live ammunition by the officials of the Nigeria Police Force as he carried out his duties.

Some policemen on election duty at Otollo Ward 1, Nnewi North LGA of Anambra State threatened to shoot The PUNCH correspondent for taking photographs during the governorship election on Saturday.

At gunpoint, the irate policemen ordered the correspondent, Ihuoma Chiedozie, to delete pictures from his phone.

With the gun pointed menacingly at him, the correspondent deleted a couple of photographs before he was ‘released’ by the policemen.
