Premier League giants Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Germany international Max Meyer this summer.
The 22-year-old midfielder became a free agent after his contract with German League side FC Schalke 04 ran out at the end of last month.
And since the Bundesliga refused to renew his deal at the club, he became clubless and the two EPL clubs are said to be monitoring his situation according to the Sun.

The publication further reported that the player is ready to leave the shores of his country to try his luck in another league next season having spent his whole career at the Veltins Arena.
According to the Sun quoting 101 Goals, the Merseysiders are still looking to add to their midfield options despite adding Fabinho and Naby Keita this summer.

The Reds also landed Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke in a 13 million pounds deal and Meyer on a free transfer could be shrewd business after losing out on Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir.
Arsenal are also looking to bolster their attacking midfield options despite Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan available to head coach Unai Emery.

NAIJ.com previously reported that Liverpool unveiled Stoke City winger Xherdan Shaqiri after signing him in a deal around £13 million this summer.
The 26-year-old was superb for his Swiss national team at the ongoing FIFA World Cup - scoring once in four appearances for the Red Crosses, but crashed out in the round of 16.
