ASABA—A chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief William Onohwakpor, has said that there was no division in the Delta State chapter of the party, insisting that the APC is one united family in the state.
Onowakpor who spoke to newsmen, yesterday, said plans were on to reconcile all aggrieved members, resulting from the last congresses in the state so as to win Delta State come 2019.”
He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for the peaceful conduct of the Ekiti State governorship election, adding that the election was free and fair.
He said; “l give much kudos to the officials of INEC who ensured free, fare and creditable election in Ekiti State. l congratulate Kayode Fayemi on his victory and I want to use this medium to also commend the efforts of the National Chairman of the APC, Mr Adams Oshiomhole, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, Alhaji Bola Tinubu and other national leaders of the party for their efforts in ensuring that APC won the governorship poll.
“I also commend the electorate in Ekiti State who exercised patience before, during and after the poll and I call on them to continue to be law abiding citizens and remain committed to the party.”
