Only time will tell if the Red Devils will keep hold of their influential midfielder.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Manchester United have denied reports claiming club boss Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba had a big bust-up as "absolute nonsense", insisting the pair have a good relationship.

According to UK Sky Sports report many news outlets reported on Thursday that Mourinho had warned the France World Cup winner not to speak out to the media and he should request for a transfer if he is unhappy with the Old Trafford outfit.

The report further hinted that the Red Devils snubbed an offer for Pogba from Barcelona earlier in August and despite handing the Frenchman the skipper’s armband for their Premier League's opening win against Leicester, his comments after the game suggested all was not well at club.
