- These fresh attack is coming weeks after a violent clash that led to the death almost a hundred people in Plateau state
In a fresh attack, two vegetable sellers have been killed while three others sustained injuries during an ambush on Sunday, November 11, in Nding village of Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau state.
Premium Times reports that according to an official who spoke to the press about the attack, the victims were on their way from their various farms when they were ambushed and killed.

The attackers also escaped with a pick-up van loaded with the vegetables belonging to the victims.
A vegetable seller, Fodio Umar, who spoke with the press, said all the victims were residents of Barkin Ladi town.
Umar said: “The incident has been reported to the district police officer and area commander. The two victims were buried this morning in the presence of the DPO."
The police spokesperson in the state, Tyopev Terna, confirmed the attack and said investigation is on the way to fish out the perpetrators.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the governor of Plateau state, Simon Lalong, on Monday, November 5, led a delegation of some people to the headquarters of the Nigerian Army in Abuja, to plead against avenge of the recent gruesome murder of Major General Idris Alkali, the retired chief of administration of the security body.
General Alkali was reportedly murdered by some indigenes of a community in the Dura-Du area of Plateau state and his car was hidden in a pond while his body, first buried in a shallow grave, was later exhumed and dumped inside a well.
