As the campaign for presidential started on Sunday, November 18, according to INEC’s timetable, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the major opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has launched his policy plan on Monday, November 19, via a Facebook live video.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Atiku's policy plan ahead of the 2019 general elections allegedly caused anxiety in the opposition party on Sunday, November 18.
Prominent party members reportedly discovered that Atiku's policy plan extended to a likely second term in office. A governor on the platform of the PDP, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the “policy is causing some disquiet because it does not give a ray of hope that power will shift from the north to the south in 2023 if Atiku is elected as the nation’s president in 2019."
