Naira depreciates to N363.5/$ in parallel market

The Naira, yesterday, depreciated to N363.5 in the parallel market. According to naijabdcs.com, the live exchange rate platform of the Association of Bureaux De Change Operators of Nigeria (ABCON), the parallel market exchange rose to N363.5 per dollar from N361.5 per dollar last week Friday, indicating two naira depreciation of the naira.


However, the naira yesterday stood at N363.69 per dollar in the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window.

The volume of dollars (turnover) traded yesterday in the window rose by 19 percent to $129.06 million from $108.17 million last week Friday.
