Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Aviation has condemned the rerun governorship election conducted in Kano State
Reports had it that the process on Saturday was marred by violence, attacks by thugs and alleged killing of voters.
But, reacting Anthony Ogbizi Michael, a Deputy Inspector-general of Police earlier debunked social media reports of killings in Gama ward in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano during the supplementary election on Saturday.
DIG Michael blamed the social media for spreading the fake news. According to him, the story was the fabrication of the social media.

Reacting, Fani-Kayode on Sunday morning described supplementary election in Kano as being marred by ‘bloodshed and all manner of evil”
However, the former minister claimed that APC and President Muhammadu Buhari government colluded with thugs to terrorize Kano residents.
Fani-Kayode wrote on his Twitter handle: “What transpired in Kano yesterday was nothing short of murder, thuggery, bloodshed, intimidation and all manner of evil and injustice.
“This was not an election but a war in which the APC-controlled Kano state govt and the FG conspired and colluded to terrorise and rob the people.”
