Nollywood actress and producer, Ruth Kadiri, has reacted to the murder of Afenifere leader's daughter, Funke Olakunrin.
The daughter of the leader of the socio-cultural Yoruba group, Afenifere, was reportedly shot on Friday, July 12. Source said she was coming from Lagos when her vehicle was attacked by kidnappers in Ore in Ondo state.
Amongst many others who have reacted to the tragic news is Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri. Taking to her Instagram page, she advised people not to travel by road as it clearly is risky.

Following the tragic death of the 58-year-old, Goodluck Jonathan, Nigeria’s former president, visited Ondo state on Tuesday, July 16, and headed for the home of Reuben Fasoranti, the leader of Afenifere, to pay a condolence visit.

Reacting to the death, The presidency cautioned leaders in the country to be mindful of their utterances and its potential consequences following the unfortunate killing of the daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.
A statement by the president’s senior special assistant on media and publicity, Malam Garba Shehu issued in Abuja on Monday, July 15, warned against politicizing the tragic death of Olakunrin.
