President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, July 19, met behind closed with the chief of defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to The Nation, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, also attended the meeting.
Details of the meeting are yet to be out as at the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, President Buhari has reiterated that his main aim is to ensure the safety of every Nigerian family.
The president spoke about insecurity when he received the Muhammadu Buhari/Osinbajo (MBO) Dynamic Support Group (DSG) in Aso Rock, Abuja.
The group was led on the visit by its national coordinator, Usman Ibrahim.
Buhari said he remains committed to have a Nigeria where families would be safe and children would have opportunities for comfortable lives.
“As leaders in your various communities, I urge you all to take the message back to your communities.
“It is not about politics, religion or tribe. It is about having a Nigeria where our families will be safe and our children will have plenty opportunities to earn a living and have comfortable lives,” the president said.
He thanked the group for its dedication to his victory in the 2019 general election adding that his administration is poised to meet its mandate.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, after meeting with President Buhari on Thursday, July 18, alerted Nigerians to the machinations of alleged war-mongers in the country.
Speaking in Abuja with journalists, the monarch who held a closed-door meeting with Buhari inside the Aso Rock Villa, explained that he came to see the president on behalf of his colleagues in the southwest.
