There'll be serious nationwide rainfall on Tuesday, July 23 - NiMet

- The prediction for the climate of Tuesday, July 23, is wetness throughout states in Nigeria

- This was revealed by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) on Monday, July 22

- NiMet said that thunderstorms and rain should be expected on Tuesday across northern, central and southern states in the country

Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted increase of rainy activities for Tuesday, July 23.

NiMet’s weather outlook on Monday,July 22, in Abuja predicted thunderstorms/rains over northern states in the morning hours, The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

According to it, a few thunderstorms/rains are anticipated over the region later in the day with day and night temperatures of 28 to 32 degree Celsius and 20 to 22 degree, respectively.

“For Central States, intermittent rains are expected throughout the forecast period with day and night temperatures of 24 to 31 degree celsius and 16 to 24 degree Celsius, respectively.

“Cloudy morning is envisaged over Southern states with chances of rain showers over the region in afternoon/evening period with day and night temperatures of 28 to 29 degree Celsius and 21 to 23 degree Celsius, respectively,“ it said.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that NiMET had predicted thunderstorm activities over most part of the country on Saturday, June 29.

The agency`s weather outlook on Friday, June 28, in Abuja predicted cloudy conditions over central states with chances of thunderstorm over Benue and Taraba states in the morning.

It further predicted thunderstorms over Abuja, Plateau, Kaduna and Nassarawa axis later in the day with day and night temperatures of 25 to 32 degree celsius and 18 to 24 degree celsius.
