Kogi state deputy governor, Chief Edward Onoja, has reacted to the electoral victory of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded governorship election.
Onoja who spoke to journalists hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the APC winner of the poll, said the election was between the haves and have nots.
He described himself and his principal, Governor Yahaya Bello, as sons of nobody who rose to the pinnacle of power in the state.

His words: “I belong to the class of the have nots, same with his Excellency. Did you hear of any Bello or Onoja 10 years ago in Kogi?
“Our parents were just ordinary people, but here we are today, number one and number two, the cabal wouldn't want that to happen. But they are not as superior as the almighty.”
Describing the victory of the APC in the election, Onoja said no mountain is too big to be mounted.
“This deepens my faith, to the fact that when God does it, it is a settled matter,” he added.
