Watford remain unmoved at the bottom of the table with eight points in 14 matches since the start of the 2019-20 season.
According to reports from Sky Sports, former Brighton boss Chris Hughton has been tipped to become Watford's third manager in the new season
The Hornets moved just one step above bottom of the log following their 2-0 victory of Norwich City in early November, but back-to-back defeats to Burnley and Southampton has seen them back in 20th position.
Flores' only other victory in his 12 matches at the club was against Swansea in the Carabao Cup.
He is now the third manager to lose his job in the English topflight division after Mauricio Pochettino and Unai Emery.
