Former unified heavyweight boxer saves life of man who planned to kill himself

Tyson Fury, former unified heavyweight champion, showed his 'good samaritan' part after rescuing a stranger from killing himself.

The 31-year-old who previously held the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO titles had once battled depression earlier in his career - which nearly resulted in him nearly killing himself.

With such experience, Fury then talked the unidentified man out of ending his own life, after which they went running. They both covered about 3 kilometers during their exercise.

"Tonight I've had a strange experience," the 31-year old said on his Instagram story.

"I'm very humbled in one way but very freaked out in another. A random stranger came to my house tonight and told me he was about to kill himself but that he needed to speak to me first before he did it.

"So obviously me being me talked him out of it and took him on a three-mile run. He left as happy as Larry and it seems to have worked.
