Popular Nigerian author, known for his controversial points, Reno Omokri, has dropped another nugget for his fans and followers on social media. The controversial author has advised people to work smart.

The author shared a post talking about hard-work on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter. He noted that hard work does not pay and it is not necessarily a virtue.

Omokri said even though hard-work is good, it is not advisable. He advised people to work smart rather than hard.

According to him, hard-work kills and it ages people before their time. He said if hard-work paid everyone will work as a labourer.

He also shared a proverb to prove his point. He said a sharp axe cuts a tree faster than a dull axe referring to the sharp axe as smart work and the dull axe as hard-work.
