Mohammed Salah may not be the best footballer in the world but he is arguably the nicest guy in the game right now after the Liverpool star gifted his boots to Hamis al Gacir, a Syrian lad who lost his leg to a bomb blast.

Salah's gesture caught the attention of the world again after he sent his boots to Hamis, 8, who is a staunch supporter of the Egyptian goal-king and his club Liverpool.

Hamis al Gacir lost his right leg to a bomb attack by the Assad Regime Forces in Idlib, Syria, forcing him to find solace in the Turkish province of Hatay where he is now making moves through a prosthetic leg.

But despite the nightmarish situation in which he was plunged into at a younger age, Hamis' love for his idol remained unwavering, and subsequently caught the attention of Salah who sent him a lovely gift to ever remember.

The Liverpool star sent over a signed boot and crampons attached to a framed poster with his football illustrations at the background.

Delighted Hamis took a pose with the gift after which he was seen playing football with the boot, making Salah who has dedicated his life to charity a happy man again.

Salah rose to prominence in Liverpool and has since enjoyed a warm reception across races and religions globally after helping Reds win their sixth UEFA Champions League title.

The 27-year-old is a known giver and humanitarian who has committed a large chunk of his earnings to the building of hospital and schools in his hometown Nagrig.

Moammed Salah donated £500,000 to child cancer cause at Cairo's 57357 Hospital in 2018.
