Kaduna woman living in a rural village delivers set of quadruplets without doctor or going for antenatal

A woman living in Makwalla village in Igabi, Kaduna state has put to birth without help from professionals. The mother of 12 children was said to have delivered a set of quadruplets without help.
According to Vanguard, the village where Zainab lives has no necessary facilities and the nearest medical facility was a distance away from the mother. It was also revealed that the only way to go to the nearest health centre from the village was through canoe and okada due to lack of proper transportation system.
30-year-old Zainab had to abandon medical check-ups during her pregnancies over the years.

In an interview, she revealed that the lack of facilities has denied her the counsel she needed to understand child spacing.
The mother of 12 said it has not been easy and she has been going through serious pains and stress. She added that God's glory helped her to deliver the quadruplets safely.
According to her, she uses traditional herbs and tablets from local vendors. She said most of the women in her village would welcome child spacing but they do not have means to counselling.

Mother of 12 gives birth to set of quadruplets in Kaduna village
Zainab’s husband, Mallam Mohammadu Hassan, said he is happy for the new addition to his family. He also thanked God for the safe delivery of his children.
However, he noted that he feels sad over the pains experienced by women in the village due to pregnancy and childbirth.
The man called on the state government to help the community to complete the hospital project that was abandoned years ago.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that a young Nigerian mother identified as Nkechi Okechukwu narrated how she delivered her baby boy in a cab by herself while she was stuck in traffic in Lagos state.
The lady shared her story on her Instagram page. Okechukwu explained that she started feeling contractions around 6:30am and she had thought that they were just cramps. The woman noted that around 6:50am she decided to head to Eko Hospital with her husband.
According to the woman, the traffic from Ogba to their destination was heavy and they decided to take another route around Oregun but there was still traffic. She said before her son came out she was praying to God that he should come out, crying hale and hearty and he did.
