- The two players have been out injured with McTominay yet to feature for close to three months

Man United pair Scott McTominay and Mason Greenwood are in line to face Watford after returning to the Red Devils' squad ahead of the league meeting.

McTominay has been out of action for close to three months now with a knee ligament picked on Boxing Day.

Prior to the injury, the Scot was an integral squad member under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer owing to Paul Pogba's continued injury layoff.

Greenwood, on the other hand makes a return after missing United's Europa League tie against Club Brugge through illness.

The youngster is expected to provide more depth upfront in the absence of Marcus Rashford who is nursing a back injury.

Both Greenwood and McTominay were pictured alongside other United stars as they checked in at the Lowry Hotel ahead of the encounter.

New signing Odion Ighalo is set to make a rare start against his former club at the Theatre of Dreams as the Nigerian striker is still in search for his first goal for United.

United are scheduled to host the Hornets on Sunday, February 23, at Old Trafford, with victory enough to fire them to fifth as they continue their push to seal a Champions League place.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Jose Mourinho stormed into the dressing room after the referee blew the final whistle in the match between Chelsea and Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.
