Northern leader reveals those allegedly causing failure of Buhari’s administration

In another report, a former commissioner of police in Lagos state, Abubakar Tsav, on Sunday, May 29, released a scorecard for the President Muhammadu Buhari's led administration.

Tsav in an interview on the state of the nation said the Buhari's administration came on board at a time when Nigeria was grappling with myriads of challenges.

He said despite all, President Buhari and his team have been able to stir the ship of Nigeria out of turbulence.

Commending the president for his efforts, Tsav said, Nigeria's polity has been stabilised since the past five years as a result of Buhari's commitment to the development of Nigeria.

The former commissioner of police in Lagos state said it is common sense for all those in the Buhari-led team to remain in tune with the body language of their principal.

Meanwhile, the Centre for Social Justice, Equity and Transparency (CESJET) has commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian military troops for their efforts towards ending the war against insurgency in the last five years.

Insurgency: Buhari has displayed sincerity of heart, purpose - Centre

CESJET made this known in its five-year assessment report on President Buhari’s administration in the war against terrorism and the accompanying efforts of the Nigerian army.

The centre said President Buhari has earned plaudits from Nigerians and the international community for dramatically halting the once growing spate of Boko Haram/ISWAP attacks in the country.

After carrying out an assessment tour of the northeast, spanning five years, CESJET acknowledged that President Buhari has displayed sincerity of heart and purpose towards bringing the war to an end.

In the report signed by its executive secretary, Isaac Ikpa, CESJET said the current administration has shown the much-needed political will to finish off the terrorists.
