Manchester United youngster Scott McTominay has rated Lionel Messi above his rival Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Argentine forward was in his best element over the weekend after helping Barcelona overcome Napoli to reach Champions League quarterfinals.
Messi scored a stunning goal despite many difficulties as they cruised to 3-1 win over their Italian League opposition at the Camp Nou.
McTominay said the 33-year-old is always a joy to watch on the pitch, saying he has never seen a player like him.

The 35-year-old scored twice but still crashed out of the European Championship at the round of 16 phase.
Since he broke into Barca's first team, Messi has accounted for 634 goals in 730 appearances, while helping the Catalans win ten La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues.
Ronaldo has equally made his mark, winning silverware for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus in his career.
Asked who he rates as the greatest out of Messi and Ronaldo, McTominay told SportBible: "Messi without a shadow of doubt. All you gotta do is just watch him.
"I’ve never seen a football player like it in my life. He’s absolutely ridiculous. Obviously, I’ve played against him and you try and rough him up or you try to get close and it’s so, so difficult."
In another comparison, McTominay says Manchester United legend Paul Scholes was better than the duo of Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard.
"I’ve heard stories about him pinging balls against light switches and turning them off and different things like that,’ McTominay added.
"It gets silly, some of the stories that I’ve heard. All you gotta do is watch him for five minutes on YouTube.
"I was lucky enough growing up that I got to watch him all the time.’ McTominay, 23, has made 39 appearances for Manchester United so far this season.
