Ansu Fati's goal against Real Madrid makes him the youngest player to score in El Clasico in this century.
Barcelona suffered a 3-1 loss to Los Blancos in the last El Clasico of the century and the teenager scored the equalizer during the blockbuster game at Camp Nou.
With a week less to his 18th birthday, the Spanish forward justified his place ahead of Antoine Griezmann in Ronald Koeman's squad with his eighth-minute strike at the age of 17 years and 359 days old.
Fati was on hand to tap-in from close range after meeting a perfectly timed pass from Jordi Alba from the left to cancel Federico Valverde's early lead.
The record was previously held by Vinicius Junior when he scored during Madrid's 2-0 win over Barca at the Santiago Bernabeu at the age of 19 years and 233 days old.
However, Fati's landmark achievement could not save his side from losing the last El Clasico of the year despite bringing his side back on level terms.
Sergio Ramos scored a second-half penalty before Luka Modric put the icing on the cake to bounce back from their midweek loss to secure a 3-1 win.

Barcelona are still looking for their first win over their fiercest rivals in 18 months but that will not disturb Fati's 18th birthday celebration with what he has achieved in the coming week.
Fati during midweek became the first player in Champions League history to score twice before his 18th birthday.
Barcelona defeated Hungarian side Ferencvaros by 5-1 in the opening match of the season and the youngster was among the scorers.
He has been seen as Lione Messi's successor if the Barcelona captain leaves the Camp Nou at the end of the season.
Fati is the club's leading scorer in La Liga at the moment scoring four goals in La Liga and one in the Champions League.
