The Reds laboured through their match six against Sheffield United to salvage a 2-1 win at home on Saturday, October 24.
Aston Villa are third with 12 points, with Leicester completing the top four slots all thanks to their 1-0 win over Arsenal.
Second half substitute Jamie Vardy helped the Foxes leave it late, heading home the only goal of the match in the 80th minute.
The victory was Leicester's first away at Arsenal in 47 years, with their last coming in 1973.
