Barcelona defeated Juventus 2-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday night, October 28 courtesy goals by Ousmane Dembele and captain Lionel Messi.
Juventus talisman Cristiano Ronaldo was ruled out of the cracker as he is yet to recover from the dreaded coronavirus since testing positive for the infection on October 13.
It was a chance for both Ronaldo and Messi to rekindle their rivalry as both players have been regarded as the best footballers of all time, but the Portuguese could not feature.
Ousmane Dembele's 14th minute goal as well as a Lionel Messi late strike from the penalty spot proved the difference as Barcelona defeated Juventus 2-0 at the Allianz Arena in Turin, Italy.
It was more painful for the Old Lady as they lost the epic match right at home and Barcelona were quick to take a swipe on them on social media.
"We are glad you were able to see the GOAT on your pitch,” the Catalan club tweeted via their official handle.
And Juventus replied: "You probably looked it up in the wrong dictionary. We'll bring you the right one at Camp Nou"
