Notable Nigerians have continued to react to the death of a former civilian governor of Kaduna state, Balarabe Musa, who breathed his last on Wednesday, November 11, at the age of 84.
The ex-governor was described as a humble, trustworthy and patriotic elder statesman, who lived an exemplary life.
In his reaction, Legit.ng's regional reporter in Kaduna, Nasir Dambatta, reports that the lawmaker representing Kaduna Central at the Senate, Uba Sani, described the death of the former governor as the exit of a political titan and frontline defender of the masses.

The senator said Musa was one of Nigeria's foremost politicians whose death marks the end of an era.
"His extraordinary life was associated with the promotion and defence of the rights of the vulnerable and underprivileged, battle against military authoritarianism, advocacy for fundamental rights and freedoms, and speaking truth to power. He was fearless and consistent."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a statement issued by its national publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan in Abuja on Wednesday, November 11, described Musa’s death as a huge national loss.

It was reported that while expressing sadness over his demise, Ologbondiyan noted that the former civilian governor was a forthright leader and an embodiment of ideals.
He Musa spent the better part of his life championing equity, fairness, and rule of law in every sector.
The PDP's spokesman sympathised with the family of Musa and prayed for the politician's soul to rest in peace.
